The news is out – Kanye West has an interest in wine. Yes, even before announcing his candidacy for the 2020 Presidential elections, the multi-faceted Kanye West may actually become a winemaker. This would be no novelty, as plenty of stars have followed this very same path such as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
Last December there were rumors of Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian committing to a series of talks with expert winemakers, hoping to renovate their Hidden Hills California 3.5-acre home and turn the land into vineyards.
This would be no small investment. This estate which once belonged to Lisa Marie Presley and sold at a value of $20 million, would see a pretty hefty price tag with the addition of vineyards. The power couple is most likely isn’t too worried about the cost, and rapper Kanye West, according to Us Weekly may be driven by his passion for wine! Having his very own personal vineyard could potentially allow him to finally have his own wine label, perhaps “Yeezus” just like his sixth album.
Now if you’re already asking yourself when and where you can get your hands on one of these bottles, you’ll be disappointed to know that they may not be on the market anytime soon. His entrepreneurial spirit is high, but so is his love of family which is why they may be private bottles only.
It’s a shame because this paparazzi couple surely wouldn’t have much trouble selling their own wine label. It’s pretty clear that everything they touch turns to gold.
Well, let’s just say that it may be a shame memorabilia wise, but leaving wine to the real experts still gives us a chance to enjoy the sweet nectar all the same.
