Not only red. Even white wine is good for your health

A recent study conducted by Milan University, in collaboration with Turin University, Pisa and the Versilia Hospital in Viareggio, reveals that a moderate consumption of white wine helps protect the heart and kidneys.

The study, published in the scientific magazine PLoS One, shows that phenolic acid in white wine, together  with nitric oxide,  contributes to protect the cardiovascular system and reduce any chronic kidney inflammation.

Excess excluded, of course: experts recommend consuming no more than two glasses of white wine per day, always with meals and never on an empty stomach.

This is undoubtedly  good news, for with the arrival of the summer heat, we will have one more excuse to enjoy a great, fresh glass of white wine. Let’s toast, once again, to your health!
