½ cup sugar
¼ cup cognac
¼ pounds of lemon
1 pound of ice
2 sticks of cinnamon

Sangria is as irresistible as it is easy to prepare. First squeeze one orange and one lemon. Then cut the remaining oranges and lemons into cubes and slices. Slice the peaches and apples and be sure to remove their cores. When you are finished cutting the fruit, pour a liter of red wine in a bowl. Add the sugar, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla seeds, orange juice and lemon juice. Mix gently. Add the chopped fruit. Pour the cognac and let the sangria rest in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap. Let sit for a whole night to properly enhance the flavors. Just before serving, add your seltzer and ice and mix gently. Enjoy!
