New York online auction house Lion Heart Autographs will be selling the Titanic’s last on board lunch menu, which was saved from the wreck by a survivor and which, according to The Guardian, , could be sold at a figure ranging between 50 and 70 thousand dollars.

The auction will be held on September 30 in New York, as well as online, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the wreck’s discovery.

On the afternoon of April 14, 1912, first-class Titanic passengers lunched on a sumptuous array of corned beef, Chicken à la Maryland  and fillet of brill. Approximately 12 hours later, the “unsinkable” ship collided with an iceberg, and a mere three hours after that it sank into the Atlantic
