Inhabited by the Etruscans and the Romans, home to the most evolved type of city-state, cradle of the Renaissance and of the Italian language, Tuscany has lived more than 2000 years of history and for this, its historical, artistic and literary heritage is unique in the world. Each year, millions of people decide to spend their vacations in this region for many reasons.

Art lovers come to visit historical cities like Florence, Siena and Pisa, the least conventional prefer the little villages or the least known centers like Arezzo, Lucca and San Gimignano.

Food lovers prefer to follow the wine-gastronomy itineraries and stroll through the vineyards and olive groves of the Chianti region and visit the characteristic countryside, where they sample wine and taste Tuscan delicacies.

Sport lovers have no reason to complain in this fantastic region: there are a number of footpaths, winding their way through beautiful landscapes, for whoever loves exploring by bike or on foot.

We must certainly not forget to mention La Versilia, la Maremma and the islands for sea lovers.  According to a legend, the seven marvelous islands of the Tuscan archipelago were formed from a pearl necklace of the goddess Venus. If you don’t believe in legends, come and see the beautiful beaches for yourself and you won’t be able to deny their divine origin!
