TOP100badge2015One of the most prestigious international wine magazine, Wine Spectator has been defining the Top 100 wines every year since 1988.

Carpineto’s Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva 2010 ranks #26 with a score of 93/100, based on quality, value, availability and excitement/wow factor.

The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva 2010 is a wine characterized as elegant, fine and harmonious with “enticing aromas of sweet cherry, leather, spice and underbrush stay focused on the palate as this harmonious red unfolds. The hint of oak on the finish suggests this still has time to evolve. Offers a mineral-laced finish. Drink now through 2024.”

This is certainly a great achievement for Carpineto, though not the first of its kind this year. Last March, the Farnito Cabernet Sauvignon 1997 put this Italian winery was among the Top 100 Italian Producers at the OperaWine 2015, with wine tasters from all around.

Wine Spectator’s selection confirms once again, the guarantee behind a quality wine like those of Carpineto.
